After 3 long years, I finaly managed to find a Spinone Italiano with the blood line, markings and gender I had been looking for.  Mia Sophia Enea, was born on April 15, 2006 in Bangor Maine.  I went Portland on June 13th to pick her up and bring her to her new home here in Wisconsin.

At 6 months of age, Mia was pointing and retrieving dead Pheasants, and on December 4, 2006 she took part in her first full fledge Pheasant hunt.  Locating and pointing about 4 or 5 birds, and retrieving all of them.  Joining me in this hunt were David and Deano Pecor.

At 9 months she seems to be at the level of a 3 year old dog.  Working together in the field with other dogs and multiple hunters, Mia has even honored and shared points with my Shorthair Coco.
