Fall Turkey - August 1,

Fisher - August 1,

Otter - August 1,

Bobcat* - August 1,

Sharp-tailed Grouse* - August 1,

Spring Turkey - December 10,

Bear* - January 13,

 

*Bobcat: The $3.00 application fee for a Bobcat permit is not included in the Conservation Patron License. 

* Sharp-tailed Grouse and Bear applications: The $3.00 application fee is required for Sharp-tailed Grouse and Bear.

NOTE: The deer hunting regulations are published as a seperate pamphlet.  The Wisconsin Deer Hunting Regulations will be available in mid August.  You will be able to pick up a copy at any license sales location, DNR Service Center on on the Internet.

To simplify things for DNR customers, the DNR has established one application deadline date for all fall hunting and trapping seasons, listed above.  You can complete and submit your applications using one of the following options.

ONLINE at dnr.wi.gov. (You should print and retain the confirmation parge: or

BY MAIL - Complete the paper "Conversation Patron Special Permits Application.  Please complete Section "A" of the application form, along with completed applicaton choices for hunter's choice, goose, and/or turkey.  If you choose to apply for more than one permit using this form, you must submit your applicaton by the earliest deadline date. 

 

Deer hunting Season Dates:

GUN: November 18 to November 26.

Muzzleloader: November 27 to December 6.

Additional Anterless Hunts in Zone "T" Units:

*  December 7 to December 10.

ARCHERY: September 16 to November 16 and December 7 to January 3, 2006.

YOUTH HUNT:  October 5, 6, 7, 8.

BLAZE ORANGE CLOTHING:

Blaze orange clothing requirements apply to ALL hunters, except waterfowl hunters, during all deer firearm seasons, including the Anterless Hunt Zone "T" seasons, even if you are not hunting for deer.

Deerhunters should always be aware that waterfowl hunters and other people may be present, and caution should be exercised.  Always make sure of your target and beyond!
